BCA is proud to announce its May Charity Spotlight, Cradle To Crayons. In partnership with Cradles to Crayons, our May Breakfast will be a drop-off location for desperately needed new or gently-used childrens items. We hope you will join us to support Cradle To Crayons by bringing a package of brand new underwear sizes 3T – 14/16 or one of the items listed below to the Breakfast. Items Needed
- PRIORITY ITEM- New socks and underwear
- Clothing (kids’ sizes newborn–14/16 and adult sizes Small)
- Shoes, boots, sneakers, and sandals (infant/child sizes 0–13 and youth/adult sizes 1–10)
- Winter and rain jackets
- Books, especially baby board books
- Brand new arts and crafts/school supplies
- Baby supplies, especially crib & bassinette bedding
- Baby safety equipment, especially strollers, pack-n-plays and car seats (car seats must be less than 5 years old)
- New baby hygiene supplies
- Batteries, especially AA and C
Items They CANNOT Accept
- Due to the recent drop‐side crib recall, we are no longer accepting cribs of any kind
- Stuffed animals
- Carseats over five years old
- DVDs/CDs/VHS tapes/computer games
- Religious books/toys, including Christmas/Easter/Hannukah/Kwanzaa related items
- Books about families (“I Love Mommy,” “Daddy and I”)
- Underwear or socks out of its package
- Military related or violent toys/games
- Oversized plastic play structures and slides
- Large backyard toys, baby pools, and structures
- Used hygiene products/baby food/breast feeding supplies
- Used arts and crafts/coloring supplies
