A big thanks to Scott and Steve of Gibbons for being such a great host at their Roundtable last week and a bigger thanks to all of you who came out and participated so wonderfully!
There was a lot of learning about relationship building, with many key take aways. A couple of them being.. listen and try to truly connect to the person you are meeting. Understand their value proposition. Also remembering that less is better; focus on less connections but deeper relationships.
Member-to-Member “Shout Out”

This post is part of an ongoing series, learn more!
Today’s Systems would like to give a BCA Shout-out to Brandon Steiger and his team at Synergema. As an office furniture dealership, Today’s Systems called upon Synergema to assist us in updating our website and online presence. As website development strategists, Synergema walked us through the entire updating process. They ensured that our requirements were accurately represented on our new site. Brandon always made himself available when we had questions and used clear language to educate us on current digital strategies. As a company that prides itself on customer service and expertise, Brandon was a perfect fit for us. We were very happy to find Brandon with our same business values and commitment to excellence. We highly recommend Brandon and Synergema to all of our business partners and contacts. Great job Brandon!
The Member-to-Member Shout Out is a segment of our blog that allows BCA members to make a public statement of appreciation, recognition or gratitude. If you’d like to personally give a shout out to a fellow member, simply click here to shoot us an email.
We officially invite all members to share their story. On June 23rd, we launched a new segment of our blog called Member-to-Member Shout Out. The idea came directly from Paul Becker, DDP Roofing (thanks Paul). We absolutely love the suggestion, it couldn’t be more BCA, so thanks Paul.
The Member-to-Member Shout Out allows BCA members to make a public statement of appreciation, recognition or gratitude. You can share a story or experience you had with a fellow member, generally share what you’ve gotten to know about a fellow member or spotlight an incredible fact or quality you’ve learned. The options are limitless. If you are unsure of what to write, check out our very first Member-to-Member Shout Out created by Paul Becker.

Thank you for sharing your morning with us. Jim Knight energetically shared with us so many great tips and insights on how he built a Culture that Rocks!
- “You’re only awesome, until you’re not!”
- Differentiate yourself through personalization. Develop an emotional attachment with your clients!
- Culture is who you are today, not yesterday. Yesterday is your heritage
- A company culture changes as people come and go.. sometimes radically. Protect the culture! Surround yourself with rock stars!
