For three decades, the Kistler-Tiffany Foundation (founded in part by Kistler Tiffany Benefits CEO William O. Daggett, Jr.) has remained true to its mission to support local organizations who provide life-changing services to individuals and groups who are mentally or physically handicapped, suffering from abuse, or unable to experience life’s pleasures due to circumstances beyond their control.
In 2015, the Foundation provided nearly $100,000 in grants to 27 nonprofits supporting a wide-variety of audiences, including children with autism and special needs, adults suffering from mental illness, and community food banks.

Thank you Paul Becker and Rusty Boyko of DDP Roofing Services, we greatly appreciate your hospitality and Roundtable topic, “Incentive Compensation.” It was interesting to learn what each member’s organization does to move the quality bar to create competition and greatness. It appears the most successful incentive programs are a combination of individual and company performance. Thanks to all the members who contributed to the conversation!

A big thank you to Steve and Lonnie of New America Power for being such excellent Roundtable hosts. Your hospitality is greatly appreciated, as well as the interesting topic, “The Big Deal.” Everyone shared great stories and suggestions for prospecting and “closing deals”. The discussion certainly got everyone’s juices flowing! Key take-aways were positioning your company to be the “expert” in your industry by speaking at industry seminars/functions and blogs. It was interesting to learn how important Dave Van Horn’s blog is in generating revenue for PPR.

The original Steve Jobs portrait painted by David Garibaldi live from the BCA “Breakfast In The Evening” is now the prized possession of Shawn Orenstein of KTB. We’re happy to announce that we have just raised an additional $2,125.00 for The Clay Studio. Shawn will choose to donate the remaining 50% of the proceeds to a charity very dear to his heart. We truly appreciate all the bidders who have helped raise additional money for charity, especially during this holiday season. Thank you to all the BCA members who have participated, not only in the live auction, or “Breakfast In The Evening”, but all things BCA. Your generosity and dedication to relationships are paramount.
Thank you for joining us last night at the BCA “Breakfast In The Evening” event. We truly hope you found the time spent with the BCA Family a valuable and memorable one. Thanks to our amazing partners; Advanced Staging Productions, Brulee Catering, and the National Constitution Center for making it such a special night.
David Garibaldi was not only an amazing and talented artist but reminded us to live with passion and purpose. Paint is not only just a can to David, it is something bigger, Passion, Action, Intention, New, and Teach.

Yesterday’s Roundtable hosted by The OMNIA Group Architects was just what the Dr. ordered. Members discussed the importance of R&R, in the topic “Where do you go to recharge?” A big thank you to Brian Mann, Gene Grimaldi and Marie Grimaldi for being such great hosts. Members realized they all struggle with disconnecting from work, and were reminded of how important it is to have a place to relax in order to be at their best.

A huge thank you to Brian Daggett of Kistler Tiffany Benefits for recommending one of his favorite charities for the BCA “Breakfast In The Evening” event. We’re so excited to have The Clay Studio as our special guests on November 19th. With guest speaker David Garibaldi it is suiting that we’ll be highlighting a charity dedicated to bringing art to the lives of youth in Philadelphia. Please remember to welcome our guests from The Clay Studio on Thursday, Nov. 19th at “Breakfast In The Evening” and make them feel right at home.
The Clay Studio was founded in 1974 by five artists in need of workspace, The Clay Studio was envisioned as a stepping stone for students fresh out of art school, offering affordable studio space and shared equipment. A Huge Thank you goes out to Lou Rodriguez of Rodriguez Consulting who hosted yesterday’s Roundtable. The impactful topic, “The Power of Mentors” created a platform for an amazing conversation. BCA Members learned about Rodriguez Consulting’s work on all the Philadelphia water systems including Fairmount Water Work’s Museum! It was fascinating to learn Philadelphia’s original water system consisted of tanks and pipes made of wood!
Many members contributed their thoughts including Mitch Weinick, who differentiated the terms Advisor, Role Model, Coach, and Mentor for the group. Mentors can take any role in life, and are valuable at any age, and many members agreed it is important to mentor those who are younger. Phil Jaurigue and Brian Lipstein contributed that it can be lonely at the top of your company, so learning from those you mentor and taking advice from others is important.
Thanks to all the BCA Members who contributed their time and energy to the BCA “Braintrust” and enjoyed a beautiful day out at Fairmount Water Works!
