Great Roundtable with OMNIA Architects; Where do you go to Recharge? #BCAProud @OMNIAArchitects

Yesterday’s Roundtable hosted by The OMNIA Group Architects was just what the Dr. ordered. Members discussed the importance of R&R, in the topic “Where do you go to recharge?” A big thank you to Brian Mann, Gene Grimaldi and Marie Grimaldi for being such great hosts. Members realized they all struggle with disconnecting from work, and were reminded of how important it is to have a place to relax in order to be at their best.

Rodriguez Consulting Roundtable; The Power of Mentors #BCAProud @Rodriguez_LLC

A Huge Thank you goes out to Lou Rodriguez of Rodriguez Consulting who hosted yesterday’s Roundtable. The impactful topic, “The Power of Mentors” created a platform for an amazing conversation. BCA Members learned about Rodriguez Consulting’s work on all the Philadelphia water systems including Fairmount Water Work’s Museum! It was fascinating to learn Philadelphia’s original water system consisted of tanks and pipes made of wood!

Many members contributed their thoughts including Mitch Weinick, who differentiated the terms Advisor, Role Model, Coach, and Mentor for the group. Mentors can take any role in life, and are valuable at any age, and many members agreed it is important to mentor those who are younger. Phil Jaurigue and Brian Lipstein contributed that it can be lonely at the top of your company, so learning from those you mentor and taking advice from others is important.

A big thanks to Edimage001 Hutchinson and Hutchinson Mechanical, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for hosting a wonderful and pertinent topic of – Leveraging Wellness Programs To Reduce Healthcare Cost. It was agreed upon that Wellness Programs, or “Well Being”, are an important part of a company culture. When a company reaches a certain size it’s time to start gradually implementing a strategic Wellness Program. Thanks for everyone’s valuable input! See you all Tomorrow at the Allied 10th Anniversary Bash!! #BCAProud

Thank you to Jon Buzan and Jerry Naples of REPSG for hosting an interesting, and fun Roundtable. They held their Roundtable at the Piazza with a penthouse view. It was the perfect spot for their topic discussion: If you were King or President, what laws would you change? This generated a lot of conversation about underserved issues in society. Thank you to all the BCA members who contributed. #BCAProud
