FMI’s Superhero Roundtable!
Posted by bcaphila-jj in BCA News on April 21, 2016
Thanks to everyone who attended the FMI Direct Marketing Solutions Roundtable yesterday. Lisa, Mike, Steve and Eric, you sure know how to host a party and take advantage of the beautiful day. The BBQ was perfect and you made ‘superheroes out of all of us with your presentation on FMI’s capabilities. FMI gave us a tour of their grand facility which was eye opening for those who had no idea of their fantastic capabilities.
- Research your prospects thoroughly and come ready with solutions to their problems
- Highlight the quantifiable benefits of your offerings rather than just the features
- Do more ‘showing’ than ‘telling’
- Listen more and let the prospect feel heard
Synergema Roundtable; “How Do You Get Your Creative Juices Flowing?” #BCAProud @Synergema
Posted by bcaphila-jj in Member News on April 1, 2016
A big Thank You to Brandon and Heather Steiger for helping “Get Our Creative Juices Flowing” and sharing their great talents with us at the Synergema Roundtable on Wednesday. The Thinking Putty and lunch boxes were a huge hit. Everyone took away something valuable from the discussion on how to inspire experiences and help move the needle. From Dream Boards to War Rooms to going off the grid…everyone has a different ways to ‘get creative’ and the application of creativity is universal in everything we do. One of the best take aways was, “find 5 things you can’t do and find ways to do them”.

A big thank you also to Ryan Dugan, of AEC, for being our mystery guest and giving tours of his great facility.
Safian & Rudolph Jewelers Roundtable; How to Best Motivate Employees #BCAProud @SafianRudolph
Posted by bcaphila-jj in BCA News, Member News on November 10, 2015
Thank you Safian & Rudolph for a great Roundtable. This morning’s Roundtable was hosted by our favorite jewelers, Hy and Richie Goldberg of Safian & Rudolph Jewelers. The topic of How to Motivate Employees through different compensation structures was very thought provoking. Safian & Rudolph has the “trust factor” and a company culture that truly is one of the most valuable assets in the diamond industry. From a social media campaign to business development suggestions, thank you to all the members who put effort into today’s discussion. Congratulations again Hy and Richie for your continued success you deserve it!

A big thank you to Mitch Wienick of Kelleher Associates and Jill Aquino, who hosted their first BCA Roundtable yesterday. Participants engaged in the powerful topic, “What strategies and actions have you employed to accelerate business growth?” Alliance management was a term that was discussed. Another key talking point was the importance of existing clients, “do they know all your services?” Thanks to all the members who participated in the great conversation, we hope you will continue your relationship building.

Rodriguez Consulting Roundtable; The Power of Mentors #BCAProud @Rodriguez_LLC
Posted by bcaphila-jj in BCA News on August 20, 2015
A Huge Thank you goes out to Lou Rodriguez of Rodriguez Consulting who hosted yesterday’s Roundtable. The impactful topic, “The Power of Mentors” created a platform for an amazing conversation. BCA Members learned about Rodriguez Consulting’s work on all the Philadelphia water systems including Fairmount Water Work’s Museum! It was fascinating to learn Philadelphia’s original water system consisted of tanks and pipes made of wood!
Many members contributed their thoughts including Mitch Weinick, who differentiated the terms Advisor, Role Model, Coach, and Mentor for the group. Mentors can take any role in life, and are valuable at any age, and many members agreed it is important to mentor those who are younger. Phil Jaurigue and Brian Lipstein contributed that it can be lonely at the top of your company, so learning from those you mentor and taking advice from others is important.
Thanks to all the BCA Members who contributed their time and energy to the BCA “Braintrust” and enjoyed a beautiful day out at Fairmount Water Works!
